Christmas Around The World (PHOTOS)

First Posted: 03/18/10 06:12 AM ET   Updated: 05/25/11 04:00 PM ET

Everyone may celebrate the holidays differently, but the most important part is that they are celebrating. Indeed, when it comes to Christmas, many are the ways that people mark the holidays around the world. Whether it's dressing up like Santa Claus, covering your house with lights, or eating a special meal, the holidays are all about traditions, family, and, hopefully, happiness. In keeping with that spirit, here is a collection of photos of the Christmas season from across the globe.

South Korean postmen dressed as Santa Claus drive away on delivery bikes as they launch an event to visit and give Christmas gifts to neighborhoods at the Central Post Office in Seoul, South Korea, Monday, Monday, Dec. 21, 2009.

JESUS is still the reason for the season. May we all be blessed and remember to love everyday all day.

Just a reminder that Christmas celebrates the birth of just one more smart Jewish rabbi! Shalom!

Amazing how the almost universal symbol of Christmas around the world is Santa Claus.

That man Eric Marshall, in Bagby, North England in front of his house, OMG!! I thought he was Glenn Beck, he looks just like him, would be nice if he moved to North England!!

The Krampus look like the Cryptkeeper.

I wonder what an "Idiocracy" Christmas would look like.

This is the first year we are going to celebrate Christmas on the 25th. I hate that. I liked getting presents on the 25th, the 31st, and the 6th. Tonight was a good concert in the central square and tomorrow is the standard too much food, too much alcohol, too many family members thing.

Merry Christmas from Moldova to everyone on HP

(read this post with a Lewis Black accent)

This is one of the best Holiday Seasons ever. You got Christams Eve - then Christmas - then it's the Weekend! The only way it could be better would be if they changed Halloween to the 28th of December!

(happy holidays all :-)

They're mostly in the southern hemisphere, so don't have Christmas until June.
