Anyone else notice that most of those jobs are jobs that SYMBOLIZE work......Activities that are symbols ......something my father used to say.......symbolizing but not actually producing anything?

notice most of the job descriptions come right out and say "if you are willing to do the work of 3 people, we will pay you as one person." great deal, where do i sign up?

every up and every down in our economy for the past 30 years has enriched the top tiers and held back the lower 90% of us in real wages and free time. "increased productivity" is just code for "squeezing our workers to the point of total burnout for less money and fewer benefits," and is all part of the current pyramid scheme of our brand of capitalism.

it is so depressing to think that we will still be forced to be underpaid, miserable cogs in a Big Corporate wheel because of the failure of our legislators to reform healthcare. the individual insurance market is a complete nightmare and very few people can afford it once they are over 45 and rates skyrocket even for the healthy. but employers and shareholders win, so here we are, wage slaves instead of innovators...

THe Big Lie. Jobs 5,6 and 7 are already contracted out to holders of H1-B visas at substandard wages. The "starting" wages are also the middling and ending wages and don't amount to a third of a policeman's income. Where are the federal employees listed? There hasn't been a downsizing or wage cut in that group EVER! This list was manufacured by Fortune magazine which cheerleads the off-shoring of American jobs and the disposability of low level corporate wage serfs.

Hey how about a tax cut to jump start the economy!
No. I dont think Washington will do it. They need our money for all the spending they are doing.

"Labor is prior to, and independent of, capital. Capital is only the fruit of labor, and could never have existed if Labor had not first existed. Labor is superior to capital, and deserves much the higher consideration." ABRAHAM LINCOLN

"The nobility system of other countries having been established by force, and being supported by force, can perhaps be go rid ofonly by force.

But our American Nobility system being founded in fraud and supported by fraud, can be rid of in no other way than by effectually exposing the nature of that fraud...", US Democratic Review 1839

Gee, I'm #1 on the list. In spite of advanced degrees, I'm making the lowest wage I've made in the last 15 years. I would need a 15% raise just to get up to the bottom 10% of the wage scale for my job and I haven't received a raise in 2 years and the last was 1.6% (good thing I had a very good rating or I wouldn't have got that. My very qualified boss got laid off over a year ago and has not found a job yet.

Don't believe these lists. They are not reality in today's job market.
