Promotional book videos haven't been too impressive so far. In fact, the best videos about books that we've seen so far have tended to be made by fans, not publishers or authors. But, finally, someone's got it right. Really right. The New Zealand National Book Council has recently come out with an ad spot that is a book video for "Going West" by Maurice Gee, and it is awesome.
