Michelle Obama's Hawaiian Looks: Which Is Your Favorite? (PHOTOS, POLL)

On Monday the Obamas return to Washington from an 11-day vacation in Hawaii. While Michelle Obama kept a low profile, her public appearances included a visit to a marine base on Christmas day, dinner at Alan Wong's with friends and family, and a visit to a sea life park with her family. See which looks she wore and tell us which is your favorite!

Mrs. Obama leaves the White House for Hawaii on Christmas Eve. She returned to the White House on January 4th in the same ensemble.

Love Michelle Obama's style, she looks simply elegant and classy! The black flats were different but not something I would have chosen, they work for her style.

Consignment shop in a really good neighborhood, if possible.
Otherwise, consignment shop in the closest big city.

IMO FLOTUS could wear a potato sack. It's not what's outside, it's what's inside. She is a gracious, smart, glowing, lovely wife to the leader of the free world and a terrific mom to those two beautifual daughters.

I am so very proud that she represents me and our country to the rest of the world. We are fortunate indeed to have her as our FLOTUS,

I "seriously" wonder why photographs of her shoes are necessary or the negative comments. Most of us would NOT want a lot of attention given to our feet. Mrs. O is a tall woman with feet surely as big as mine (size 10). I aim for comfort and I'm sure that most women do. I saw nothing wrong with the flats and sandals that she wore on vacation and I hope that she enjoyed her Christmas holiday.

More of us are not modelling for fashion magazines (like VOGUE , Glamour, etc...). More of us we are not pretending to be celebrities...

Here is a Fashion Forum. We are talking about outfits, accessories, make up and hairdo. So the photographs are necessary...obviously.

As a forum, there should be people with different opinion, despite negative opinion obout MO are not well accepted here...

Mrs. Michelle Obama is not dressing for us, the public, she is dressing for President Barack Obama. She is showing women how to keep the man in your life interested, by alternating clothing style and fabric. That is what a sensuous woman does. Remember, she is a young woman who deters any potential competition. Mrs. Obama, you go girl!!

For the life of me, I don't understand why she thinks those high waisted dresses suit her; they are horrible and do NOTHING good for her look.

MO looks best in just below the knee, fitted outfits, not the empire waist or flared-at-the-waist ones. It's not a criticism of her, it's the reality. There are very few people who would look good in anything, the rest of us have to figure out what we look best in and stick with it. I love that she expresses herself through her fashion, but I wish she would find a way to express herself in something more flattering to her figure.

Oh, I think she cares what we think, or she wouldn't bother to wear different outfits all the time. It is part of her role as First Lady, though I think it's probably her least favorite part. She's more interested in issues than fashion, and that's a big reason for her popularity, and why I like her.

I have huge respect and admiration for who she is, but that doesn't mean I like everything she wears. We all make fashion mistakes, and she is far too busy with more important things than going shopping. She has staff that do that for her, and they don't always get it right.

So, while I like many of the outfits she wears, and while I think she is a very good looking woman, I really hated those flats with the toes showing. They were just plain ugly, IMO, just like my eighties perm.

MB is great no matter what she is wearing, but agreed the empire waist styles do not flatter her figure. She is already tall and the empire waist just pushes her out of proportion. Empire waist styleing looks best on thin petite women or the under 25 crowd. Agreed she should ditch this look and gravitate towards lines that fit her body type.
