As the world's tallest building opens in Dubai, Giorgio Armani SpA prepares to open its first hotel, situated in the Burj Dubai tower, on March 18.
WWD reports that the hotel will be 432,000 square feet with 160 guest rooms and suites and 144 private residence, and will be furnished with Armani's Casa line. And according to Vogue UK, a swimming pool will be located on the 76th floor, for a dip with quite a view.
Next, Armani will open hotels in Milano, Marrakech and Egypt. He isn't the only designer to try his hand at hospitality. Missoni and Versace have hotels around the world. Online bookings for the Armani Hotel in Dubai will be available later this month.
