Supermodel, and mother of four kids, Heidi Klum is set to design two maternity lines: Lavish by Heidi Klum for A Pea in the Pod, and Loved By Heidi Klum for Motherhood. Both will hit stores on February 12, 2010, according to a press release.

"I chose to call my collection for A Pea in the Pod Lavish because there is no grander name to express everything you want to give yourself and the child growing within you," Klum said. "For Motherhood Maternity, Loved is a celebration of new life and the love around you and your baby....They are all about making you feel beautiful; being pregnant shouldn't stop you from being fashionable and feeling great about your changing body. It's an exciting journey."

Lavish will include 15 pieces representing iconic style and Loved will be 14 items standing for comfort and playfulness.

Better to die fighting, than live on knees

fashion comes from all sources. I found this fantastic quote in an article about low hung pants where the underwear shows. I was curious to see what and why it started. I doubt most people today even know what it means anymore. If they knew, theyd find someway to deny it cause they think its cool.
Here you decide.

"Sagging pants was never meant to be fashionable. Prisoners wear their pants this low because belts are a popular way to commit suicide by hanging oneself, to hang others, or to use as a weapon in fights. Prisoners are also not allowed to have shoestrings for the same reasons. But there is an even more obvious reason why pants are sagging in prison. If the pants are below a man's bottom, it is to introduce to other men that he is homosexual. As Eazy E once said about women in skirts, "For easy access, baby."

Heidi Klum's decision to have four children -- two too many in a finite planet facing limited resources and far, far too many people -- is not something that should be celebrated with two maternity lines.

In my view, the children and the maternity lines ooze indifference to the global environmental and population crises. Had she, instead, decided to do something for humanity or the environment, perhaps her indifference could have been mitigated.

This woman will be successful in whatever she does! If she weren't such a wonderful young woman, it would be so easy to dislike here - she has it all.
