News Anchor Can't Stop Laughing During Report On Ridiculous Suitcase-Flotation Device (VIDEO)

Sometimes a news report is so absurd that even the anchors cannot help but crack up. This Toronto news station was in the middle of a story on a new invention, a suitcase that turns into a flotation device in case of an airplane crash when one of the anchors just loses it.

The idea itself is not so bad, but the finished product is completely ridiculous. The suitcase turns inside out in some way to become a flotation suit with the person inside it. As one anchor laughs, the other, who is narrating the report, eventually succumbs and says, "Oh, this is not looking good."

It certainly is not.

After they stopped laughing I am sure that the ones with common sense took another look and ordered one. Couple of changes, pull your arms inside to conserve heat and insulation around legs for the same reason. If the case is water tight, I want one. When the choice is life or death, ridiculous is a non issue.

Very true. People shouldn't be laughing at safety equipment. You seem to be a safety-minded person of very discriminating taste. I heard Homeland Security put in an order for 3,000 of these suitcase flotation devices to distribute to airline carriers as part of its new enhanced security program. After the plane explodes, passengers are to grab one of the two suitcase flotation devices stowed in the belly of the plane, read the easy 10-step manual written in Mandarin, put on the device, and pray.

Global News is a joke in itself.

Their very sympathetic to the Canadian Conservatives like Fox News.

Its owned by CanWest which bought criminial Conrad Black's Consevative newspaper the National Post (which keeps losing money by the way).

The National Post was created soley for the purpose to trash the Liberals.

I watch Global here in BC all the time and don't notice a particular bias. To compare them to Fox is a stretch to say the least. I agree with you about the Nat'l Post however.

And Global is not that right-wing. Can-West is, and always has been, controled by the Asper family. And the Asper family is not right-wing at all.
