There are estimated to be more than 140,000 species of mushrooms in existence, but only about 10 percent of those have been identified. Of that percentage, however, mushrooms cover a lot of ground. They can kill you and they can heal you. They can drug you and they can feed you. Here's a glimpse into the strange kingdom of this versatile fungus.

Psilocybin mushrooms

Psilocybin mushrooms are a psychedelic commonly known as shrooms. In this form, mushrooms can make you think/do crazy things. Some call it a spiritual experience, others an anxiety-ridden one. Regardless, they don't call them magic mushrooms for nothing. Shrooms are also used in small doses for people with cluster headaches and migraines.
