When the 2010 Colorado Legislative Session convenes on Wednesday, the most pressing issue facing the General Assembly will unquestionably be how to close a $1.5 Billion budget gap for the next fiscal year. Despite the immediacy of the budget crisis, however, legislators will pursue a diverse variety of pet projects, many of which tackle issues that the majority of Coloradans haven't ever considered. Others take interesting new approaches to age-old issues like education.
