I dont' understand why Michelle Obama is being dragged into this discussion? I've seen her wear clothes from Target, the Gap, JCrew, White House Black Market plus high end designers. Isn't that what the fashion mags tell us, to mix high end and lower end lines to get the most bang for our buck? For the record, JCrew can be purchased by the common man, I shop there all the time and I don't have a six figure income. To all those complaining, I don't recall seeing your comments when Laura Bush was wearing Oscar De Laurenta, Valentiono, Scassi or other high end designers exclusively, or when Condoleeza Rice was shopping in Ferragamo for shoes while New Orleans was underwater. Complain if you want, but at least pretend that you can be fair.

Not only is she gorgeous and very cool for wearing a $40 dollar dress on the red carpet, but she's a devout Vegan and is wearing Vegan shoes. She designed Vegan shoes for a while too. Natalie rocks!
