Dr. Ruth Named Honorary Secretary Of Department Of Love And Relationships

Dr. Ruth Westheimer has been named Washington DC's honorary secretary of the "Department of Love and Relationships," in an effort to stimulate the city's tourism business, the Washington Post reports.

Westheimer will be sworn in on Thursday to kick off February's month-long promotion of the capitol's hotspots. Tourism officials hope to promote the Obamas' previous date night picks and advertise other nightlife venues in order to spark new romances in the city.
