Famous Nappers: Historical Figures Known For Napping

Napping may not be as common as it once was due to our fast-paced society.

Despite a sometimes negative stigma, we may need naps now more than ever. Napping can make you more productive later in the day, allowing you to wake up refreshed.

Several historical figures understood the value of a nap. These famous nappers may make you rethink your approach or at least perceptions of the nap.

I've become a new person ever since I became freelance and have been able to take quick half hour naps during the day when needed. I have more energy, I feel healthier and more aware. It's great. A good nap beats any over the counter remedy.

You're right! I think people rely on medication too much now instead of looking at underlying problems. More sleep = less stress and anxiety! Come on people, it's not rocket science!

So napping isn't just a side effect of getting older and having to chase the kids around all day, and force them to go to bed at night, before we can get time to ourselves?
