Jessica Simpson: I Almost Puked Next To Skinny Models

Jessica Simpson's weight is in the news again.

While promoting her new VH1 reality show, 'The Price of Beauty,' Jessica admitted that filming a runway segment alongside skinny models made her sick to her stomach.

"Going to Paris, I had to walk a runway with all these tall skinny models and I almost puked I was so nervous," she said at a press conference. "I mean, I can walk a red carpet but walking a runway, I will be the first to fall on my face. And thank god I didn't. But I was so nervous to walk out there and be judged. To just put myself out there like that. Especially next to people that eat just salad."

She didn't puke in that particular instance, but, she said, "I throw up in a couple episodes."

In the show Jessica travels the world to try to determine what different cultures consider beautiful. One thing she learned: Brazil is "the largest for butt implants, definitely for plastic surgery."

Jessica and her father Joe executive produced the show, which premieres March 15.

butt implants,; breast implants; toxic cosmetics, cancer-causing hair coloring, and beauty supplies; botox injections; liposuction; face lifts; fake tans; lip enhancements; dubious weight-loss supplements; celebrities touting everything from unproven hormonal treatments for one reason or another - to drugs for growing longer eyelashes.

Yes, women ARE making themselves sick, and often dying, from the effects of things like the above. It has become popular to blame thin models for creating unrealistic body images for young girls. But that is just addressing one isolated part of the problem.

What has this woman done to any of you? Oh, and how well do you know her? Do you hang out with her everyday and have the right to criticize her?

This is a good looking woman, more weight or less, she is still gorgeous!

I'll bet every person who commented on how bad she looks wouldn't be caught dead in speedos or a bikini!

Pathetic that we can so easily ravage a persons existance like you are doing to Jessica...and at the same time give record amounts of money to Haiti to help the people ravaged by earthquake.

Agree. She is drop dead gorgeous and looks better heavier. Only professional bodybuilders or fitness models could have looked the way she did in the Dukes of Hazzard. Even she said it was not sustainable.

She needs to find an older, laid back guy who is comfortable in his own skin and who doesn't care what she looks like or how much money she has.

I am readily available, boxers, beer belly and butt cleavage included.

I will take a woman with curves over these freakin runway models that the wind would knock over. *sigh*. Then again, what passes for fashionable in those circles is questionable as well.
