On Tuesday, a full week after the earthquake struck, a Mexican rescue crew found a 69-year-old Haitian woman alive in the rubble of a Roman Catholic compound in Port-au-Prince, in yet another nearly improbable success story for relief workers. Though she had suffered a broken leg, she was said to be in good health. According to the AP, the woman said she had prayed constantly during her week stuck in the rubble.
