i usually like reading the comments section on HP. but from now on when i read any story on Obama or his wonderful family, i'm just going to skip the comments section. the trolls here are trying to infect everyone else with their bitterness and misery and self-loathing. instead of getting of their @sses to do something, they just complain endlessly. i almost feel sorry for them, but then i remember that they aren't significant enough for that. they won't make any kind of mark on this world.

Ok they do this to ALL presidents. Their entire time in the WH is documented. Why is it that there is so much outrage at the Obamas? Times have changed so all of the info is more accessible but it has been happening all the while. EVERYTHING is documented...geez. We live in a very different time so it is out in the open a little more.

Most of the whiners on this are loners whose only life is complaining about other people's joy and living on the internet. They're actually sad so we should have some compassion, even though they have none.

amen. can you imagine having so much built up bitterness, that you disparage the happy, thriving First Family? it really is sad.

The funny thing is the more popular a person is the harder they fall. The Republicans will win hands down in 2012, unless something changes, and that will not be good for the world.

The American people are not stu pid. We will remember who got us into this mess in this country. And we will win again.
The president is doing just great. The media, even HP, will not tell you.

I sincerely hope that you are right but I don't think so. Not enough people think for themselves to make the difference, I am afraid. This doesn't mean the American people are stupid. It just means people are conditioned and the conditioning is hard to break.

You know honestly, I am beginning not to care about how cute our president is with his family. There are too many families out in the country who either don't have fathers to be cute with because he's out trying to feed his family, or just simply have mothers who are trying to feed their families....Cute is sooooo last year...

Hillary was right. It takes more than the ability to give a good speech to be President. In hind sight, the campaign proved that Obama really, really wanted to be president. And his first year in office proved he didn't really have an agenda he felt passionatley about.
04:22 PM on 01/20/2010
Actually he was too passionate for an agenda the American people don't want.

Cutest family moments, best pictures behind the scenes, greatest moments from Southampton.

Suddenly looks like McCain campaign was right describing Obama as more of a celebrity than a politician.

Where is that cool progressive community organizer everybody elected to be President?

Battling a totally ridiculous Congress and the lemming-like people who believe he can wave a magic wand and make everything right. Has it occurred to any one of the people anxious for a job that thanks to the debacle of the past twenty years, the US economy is neither ready nor able to support jobs for all the unemployed? There were enough jobs to keep complaining down before because our infrastructure was so hopelessly out of date. Now that we have been dragged kicking and screaming into the 22nd Century, it is obvious that there are not enough of us able to benefit from the adaptation to new technology. To all the people begging for new jobs: Whether you are a blue or white collar worker, you need to ask yourself the following question: Can you handle those new job categories?
