Gail Huff's Two Lives: Scott Brown's Wife Is Also Boston TV Reporter

The spotlight shining on Senator-elect Scott Brown now lands on a family member who largely avoided the campaign glare: veteran WCVB-TV (Channel 5) reporter Gail Huff, Brown's wife, who has carved out her own niche as a broadcast journalist and working mother.

Huff steps into a role occupied by, among others, Victoria Reggie Kennedy and Teresa Heinz Kerry, two women known for having strong working partnerships with their high-profile lawmaker spouses.

Isn't it funny that the same republicans and FOX pundits that were critical about Obama.... calling him a celebrity... are the very same ones gushing over the Brown family, being celebrities. Right down to the daughter who was on FOX's American Idol ... SMH. Un-friggin-believable.

Just wanted to pass on that when referring to Republicans, please use the terms "Arrogant" and "Elitist" at all times as those are their current code words to try to undermine President Obama and the Democrats. I say -- sling it right back at them. They are after all the party of the extremely wealthy and extremely poor in this country and they would love to keep the voters uneducated and in their place.

In this comment you appear to be throwing a bit of tantrum because whoever you voted for in the 2008 presidential election clearly did not win, and you harbor some bad feelings about this. It also read as immature and tr0//ish, and my suspicions are that you posted it merely to stir the pot, not to create an honest discussion about anything important.

In addition to that, you also appear to be throwing your own child (and your parenting skills) under the bus by announcing not only is she bratty at times, she is also spoiled. That is so...odd.

If he were a Kennedy, that prediction would a given, since the previous holders of that senate seat were the worst wo ma nizers in US history. Since he's not a Kennedy, it's hard to predict that with any accuracy.

Barak Obama did not think driving a pick up truck was a big plus for serving in the Senate. Barak Obama did not pose basically "nude" for a magazine. Barak Obama had written (no ghost writer) two books, earned scholarships for his education, had a brilliant academic career and also taught constitutional law. I'm sure he would never never stand silent while someone shouted that someone should "shove a curling iron up Coakly's butt" and I know he would never stand in front of a microphone and millions and millions of people and announce, "these are my daughters and they are available"..........Obama has class and so does Brown, unfortunately Brown's class is LOW............To elect him is the ignorance that will eventually destroy America.........
