Several times on this board I have posted questions such as:

WWJPITR: Who Would Jesus Plunk in the Ten Ring?

And for some reason, no "Christian" has answered any of my questions, other than to throw some limp-wristed insults at me.

So.....anybody? Bueller? Bueller?

Probably, Pat Robertson . . . bad for the P.R.

The use of the sites had gone unnoticed ? Horsepuckies ! Each and every item commissioned and used by the military goes through rigorous and detailed quality control inspection prior to being accepted as useable equipment. The root of this sacrilege lies in whoever commissioned these scopes, whoever field tested them and whoever ordered them. This is a holy war and nothing less.

Nope. COTS items are frequently not subjected to that kind of stuff.

And if I wrote "BDCS762X51IS60:1", would you know what it is?

The actual translation of the commandment is "murder", not "kill". The Bible is filled with examples of advocated killing both before and after the commandments are received.

This is simply sick and another sign of the religious nuttery that has infested the USA. As an American you are probably used to all kinds of weird stuff but for a foreigner this is bizarre beyond belief.

I suspect that the company is run by evangelicals and they probably just figured "Hey, everybody inscribes bible versus on their product, don't they?"

They're probably so deep into the evangelical culture that it never even occurred to them that there are people out there who have different beliefs.

Except when they're pushing an agenda to kill for Jesus.

Sick, disturbing , and extremely immature. Acts like this jeopardize our troops' safety.

I find it paradoxical and ironic that references to the Prince of Peace should be inscribed on weapons intended to kill.

What a self-promoter! He'll do or say anything to get in the news! He probably has visions or running for President. But he won't. After he loses the Iraq and Afghanistan wars.

Religion today is worse than all wars because it's hypocritical to the max. Praise to your gods one day and shoot the enemies the next day all under the guise of religion. Religion shouldn't be connected to wars of any kind if you truly believe in God, who would never condone such hatefulness and who believes we should love one another and not k!ll each other. That's what religion supposedly preaches but men have added their lies to the bibles which indicate we should be at war with one another. That's why religion is of no use to humankind today with all the lies that have been espoused from holy mouths and holy books.
