Italian Teenager Stabs Father In The Neck Over PlayStation Game

An Italian teenager stabbed his father in the neck with a 15-inch knife after a dispute over a PlayStation game, Reuters reports. The man, 46, was recovering in the hospital after suffering a deep cut to his throat.

According to Ria Novosti, the row broke out after the father gave his teenage son some advice on his tactics while playing the game FIFA Soccer 2009.

In perhaps the most chilling detail, the boy reportedly, after fetching a knife from the kitchen and stabbing his father, walked back to the kitchen and cleaned off the weapon in front of his mother.

As the man's wife told the Italian daily Il Corriere:

"I saw Mario come back into the room, he seemed calm, he went to the sink and I noticed him washing a knife. Then my husband came into the room with a hand round his neck, dripping blood."

The boy, according to his mother, was obsessed with PlayStation.
