iTablet Apple Tablet Release Imminent: Latest News, UPDATES On Apple Product (PHOTOS)

The 'iTablet' Apple Tablet is ready to be announced January 27, 2010, at an Apple event in San Francisco.

Apple hasn't confirmed the new product it will announce, but rumors are strong that the 'iTablet' tablet will be the 'latest creation' Apple is showing off.

  • Steve Jobs reportedly said that the Apple Tablet "will be the most important thing I've ever done."
  • McGraw-Hill CEO confirms the Apple Tablet, calling it 'really terrific' and noting that it is based on an iPhone operating system.
  • The Wall Street Journal reports on the possible uses of the Apple Tablet. According to "people familiar with the situation," "the company envisions that the tablet can be shared by multiple family members to read news and check email in homes," the WSJ writes
