I wonder if MSU has a major their footballers take focusing on classic social behavior. Plaxico Buress and Andre Rison are two notable alum. Maybe these classy gents will join

Sports fosters aggression, senseless tribalism and vulgar nationalism.

The goal of sports is for the masses to focus on something that doesn't matter, to care for a game of empty stakes.

End sports. Period. That includes any activity with inflated or spherical devices. Point systems? gotta go.

The only sports situation I condone is an Olympic games where people of countries of poor diplomatic relations play on the same team. That way people will be forced to collaborate and find solidarity with people of different national identities. But we know this won't happen....so I say again,

End Sports.

Is there not another way for players to enter the NFL or pro teams of any kind.\

College has been dumbed down for athletes.

Why should any college have remedial classes.

In my father's day. A high school diploma meant you could read, write, comprehend, and do math.

My day it was undergraduate school. Today, unless you have connections you pretty well need a masters degree.

Education should be getting better not worse.

It is not dems and it is not repubs. It is all of us. Both parties have been in power from time to time and the school situation continues to deteriorate.

Anyone remember when education was not part of the minority's party campaign promises?

Schools are letting us down for money. Sports, especially football generates alot of cash for the school. I could make a better argument for paying these athletes then I could remedial classes.

What is the possibility of someone graduating from college w/o ability to read and write? I bet it is high especially if comprehension and basic math are added..

The US's biggest problem. Our best and brightest refuse to run for public office because of the media.

What successful person in any endeavor wants to put his/her family under the microscope of what has basically become tabloid journalism. (Which is every media outlet) all opinion all the time.

The problem is ours. We all like train wrecks and scandal way too much.

Thus we are getting the govt we deserve.
