Today, Tyra Banks announced her newest challenge to the modeling market: her first-ever plus-sized modeling competition for teens. Dubbed Tyra's Fiercely Real Teen Model Search, the contest will hunt for curvy catwalk contenders aged 13-19 and between 5′ 9″ and 6′ 1″.

Bet they`ll all be just slightly overweight. No one deals with the real heavy plus sized girls. Gimmicky Tyra. Gimmicky.

"Slightly overweight" does not have health risks like "real heavy pus sized girls." I think it is great that Tyra is promoting the notion that women do not have to be underweight or extremely skinny, and I hope that she will present healthier plus size models, and not glorify or promote obesity.
