Jarrod Clarke, Gary Coleman Fan, Posts Bail Money

Gary Coleman is out of jail and back in his Utah home, thanks to the kindness of a fan. Jarrod Clarke, a local businessman and 'Diff'rent Strokes' fan who had never met Coleman, posted the $1,725 bail, Radaronline.com reports.

"I felt bad for the guy," Clarke told Radar. "I grew up watching him and I know he has had a hard life. To see that sad mug shot, for only $1700, I thought it was the least I could do."

Coleman, 41, was arrested Sunday on an outstanding domestic violence warrant. He told Radar he had missed his court date because he'd been in the hospital getting surgery, though he didn't want to say what sort as he thought it might prevent him from getting acting work. He was booked into the Utah County Jail and released late Monday, looking frail in a wheelchair but "happy as a clam" to be headed home.

His wife, Shannon Price, 24, was arrested in July for domestic abuse. She allegedly broke items belonging to Coleman without causing him physical harm. Both Price and Coleman were busted for disorderly conduct at a local bowling alley in 2008.

I know I cracked the Whatchutalkinabout Willis joke earlier, but for real this is sad. He should have been able to bail himself out of jail and if not for his parents robbing him of his Diff'rent Strokes money, he would have been able to. He should still be eating off of that money. It's sad that he had his money ripped off from him and he has to take dialysis daily in order to live. Yeah, it's not third world starving child sad, but it's sad nonetheless.

Man, Coleman has had a rough go of it since 'Different Strokes', seems like all we hear about him anymore is related to violence in some manner http://movies09.com/2010/01/25/gary-coleman-arrested-in-utah/ it's very sad. He and his wife should seek couseling, might do them both a world of good. I wish them the best!

All three of those kids have led tragic lives especially the white girl. She sank into pornography, illegal substances, and armed robbery before she finally past away at an early age.

This isn't the first time I heard about a rage response from him. Coleman seems to react very childish to situations that arises. Maybe him and his wife needs to escape from each other company for a while. Or needs to try to take a vacation and just relax. Gary is becoming a person of news for the media to feast on. Gary take a CHILL PILL. Everything will work in your favor. You have a lot of people who loves you and wishes you the best, Look you out of jail. So that along is GOOD!

damn he had it worse than todd bridges. he needs GOD and find himself as getting saved again. he should grow up as adult instead making foolish mistakes. his parents tored his life up despite having health problems. i hope that he gets help professionally!
