Lindsay Lohan's Father Michael Arrested AGAIN

NEW YORK — Authorities say Lindsay Lohan's father has been arrested again.

Police on New York's Long Island say Michael Lohan was arrested Thursday morning and charged with criminal contempt. Police did not provide further details.

Bryan Konoski, an attorney for Lohan's ex-girlfriend Erin Muller, has told the New York Post that Lohan allegedly phoned Muller at work Jan. 21. That would violate an order of protection.

Lohan had been arrested on a similar charge in December.

In June, a judge said Lohan would avoid prosecution on an aggravated harassment charge if he stayed out of trouble for a year. Lohan denied he threatened to kill his girlfriend and himself if she left him.

Lohan's attorney had said his client is the victim of fabrications.

The actress reportedly is estranged from her father.

You really can't help but feel sorry for Lindsay Lohan when you see stories about her father getting in trouble with the law. It's not really a surprise that she has had so many issues with substance abuse. I mean her dad is basically a criminal (and I'm still wondering why he's not in prison yet) and her mom and sis had a reality TV show in what appeared to me to be an attempt to leech off of the fame that Lindsay already had. On top of that, her dad goes around showing off text messages he's received from her to Access Hollywood and defending whatshisname from that show with all those kids (Jon Gosselin from Jon and Kate Plus 8...well now just Kate Plus 8). He's a full fledged media ho. And the thing is people actually play into it. They give him that attention that he so completely does not deserve. I'm just glad that his amount of fame or recognition or whatever you want to call it never got to the point where he actually developed some sense of entitlement (like his best bud Jon Gosselin did). I truly wish we could go back to the days where people were actually famous or mentioned in the entertainment section because they had some form of talent....not because of how many kids they popped out, who they are related to, or what they did in a YouTube video.
