Haiti relief organizations are seeking volunteers with a range of professional backgrounds to contribute to the continued healing and rebuilding of the country, Tonic reports.

Doctors and nurses are still needed most. But clergy, engineers and translators are needed, too. Individuals with experience caring for children can help in Haitian orphanages. Carpenters and teachers can be of service. Even animal lovers have an opportunity step up and help the myriad dogs, cats and other pets that have lost their homes and families.

Tonic has pulled together a list of organizations who are actively recruiting volunteers for Haiti relief efforts. Visit the Web site to find an organization that fits your skills and expertise.
