Obama Slams Lobbyists, Then Administration Invites Them To Private Briefings

The Hill:

A day after bashing lobbyists, President Barack Obama's administration has invited K Street insiders to join private briefings on a range of topics addressed in Wednesday's State of the Union.

The Treasury Department on Thursday morning invited selected individuals to "a series of conference calls with senior Obama administration officials to discuss key aspects of the State of the Union address."

So I take if he slams Republicans and then invite them to give their ideas that means he is a hypocrite too. I wish folks would apply some complexity to their thinking. This reminds me of something that was said in the bible. Temptation itself is NOT sin its the yielding to it that makes it a sin. They are lobbyist on the right left in the middle. SO do you only listen to some and ignore the others and whats the criteria for determining who to listen to. Those who want you to do what you want to. We are so busy wanting to rid lobbyist from government that its like ridding ourselves of roaches. Its not gonna happen and I dont care who claims that they are going to run lobby free white house they are lying. The reality is if you end up there its BECAUSE of lobbyist.

Let's get smart folks. The news media continues to create controversy. That is their objective. it appears that we are attracted to negativity in this country. Before you have a baby called stupid....remember that this is a presidency that insists on talking to our "enemies." There is nothing wrong with communication to seek to solve or correct or get input from others...even if one disagrees or agrees. I do not know what the conversation was about...and guess what neither do you or the author of this article. And I personally welcome a president that talks to foes and friends. As the policies emerges....then we can make a judgment on that .....not so much on this. Stop looking to live on cynicism. It is not a healthy diet.

I once took an Oath to protect and defend the Constitution. That oath has no statute of limitations.
If an individual, militia, polititian, or political party subverts the Constitution without going through the Constitutional method for ammending that Document, they are my enemy.

I do believe that the President addressed that in the SOTU.
He said that going forward all administration officials (HE is one, yes?) had to document who they met, under what circumstances, and what was discussed.

Many an athiest go to Seminary,just to learn how to subvert the teachings of the Bible.
Obama MAY be a Constitutioal scholar, that does not make him a proponent of the Constitution.
Obama said in an interview that the Constitution was a flawed document and outlined Negative Rights for the Government.

Obama's trying to have it both ways. To the public, he stands in front of Congress on national television and bashes the Lobbyists - and the Democrats applaude and join in the bashfest. Then away from the cameras and public, Obama sends out invitations to the Lobbyists for their help and Democrats send out letters requesting donations.

Just more lies, doublespeak and broken promises by Obama and the Democrats.

I'll be more than happy to help Obama be a one-term President, albeit not a great one, when I vote against him in 2012. It would be wonderful if H Clinton ran for Prez again and beat Obama in the Dem primary. I'd vote for her.
