Positive agenda and ideas.... yes, Karl, that's exactly what's missing from Republicans. And I don't think we see that from them anytime soon.

Karl Rove is a great strategist, it is too bad that he could not put it to use in a good way.
He has significantly influenced this nation's government for decades to come, it will be difficult to unwind much of it. However, he has permanently alienated himself from anyone from the center to the left of the political spectrum. He has closed the door and burned his bridges to half of the nation.

Regarding his proposal, "Let's create a tax credit" - typical. What can you expect. So sad.

There are some good political prognosticators and Rove is not one of them. I would imagine he was paid to attend the Burr event.

They simply want to raise money and hone their voodoo. Their voodoo doesnt work on people that hold the truth as an important personal value and understand basic logic.

There is a quick silly little game rooted in Athropomorphism (attributing human characteristics to non-human creatures) that can perhaps alleviate some of the stressors that some of us feel when faced with the fact that in our world ignorance is not bliss, it’s propagated and quite malignant.

It’s called find the reasonable facsimile thereof of your wingnut of the day (or hour, minute, etc.)

Gee, it seems as if the ICC at the Hague has a competition for trials.

Who will win the competition?

Rove is a war criminal. Since when do real Americans want to read about war criminals and their thoughts?

Rove wants to apply Conservative principles to peoples' lives. How do you sell, "Pull up your bootstraps and go fix it yourself." ?

Why I do declare Karl Rove has turned into a Socialist: Let's create a tax credit for people who make too much to fall into Medicaid, who don't have coverage from their employer, and who are young, and who may have made a decision to self-insure, and it helps them to get coverage."

Karl Rove is one of those rare political geniuses who come along very seldom. He has an encyclopedic knowledge of the history of politics and current events. Disregarding his views is for fools.

Specifically, he's correct that the public has an aversion to the radical left policies Obama's tried to push.

Specifically, he is correct that Republicans need to advance a reasonable, common sense agenda that is designed to solve problems that face the public.

Specifically, this is much like 1994 with a discontented electorate, and we need a positive, easy-to-understand agenda much like the Gingrich Contract with America.

Even moreso, we need candidates who honestly believe in conservative principles and who are less corruptible by inside-the-Beltway cocktail parties than some previous Republicans I could mention.

Yeah, he was so spot on about the last election. Actually, I think his time has passed. It is a whole different game today.

Please define "a reasonable common sense agenda". The term makes it all seem so simple. Palin uses the expression often with no specifics.
