Josh Shirley signed with UCLA today in one of the biggest surprises of National Signing Day 2010.
Shirley, a highly-touted defensive linebacker out of Fontana Kaiser (California), was believed to be between USC and Miami before announcing his decision.
His decision went down to the end and never lacked in drama. There were rumblings that he had chosen Washington, rumors which obviously turned out to be false.
ESPN reported on Monday that Shirley may have been leaning toward Miami, after also looking at USC, Washington and Arizona.
UCLA also signed five-star Owamagbe Odighizuwa today.
