Massachusetts Senator Brown

Boston Globe:

Scott Brown campaign staffers offered their digital election playbook to Republican strategists hoping to replicate Brown's successful online strategy, during an invitation-only event today at Google's Washington headquarters.

Brown's political director Peter Fullerton and new media director Robert Willington demonstrated how they used tools from Google and other online platforms to recruit volunteers, raise money, get out the vote, and ultimately win the online war that helped Brown upset Democrat Martha Coakley.

Does it take alot of brain power to know to use google? OMG what is this fascination with Brown? Did he win because he's good looking? Are Americans so vain that they would elect this man to the Presidency because he posed nude?

I am friggin sick of the media and their attempts to make the big story. Of course, the media wants Brown to run for office, even though they have been negligent in reporting his vote history in the Ma. Congress. The media is not reporting all the information they should, shame on them.

They want Brown to run to get ratings - the media is not interested in the real lives of ordinary American citizens. Howard Fineman was all breathless on Keith Olbermann's Countdown this evening, almost cheering Brown on in his obstructionist agenda.

I am just curious when google and Fox News became synonymous with each other.

Arianna should get her reporters out and find out how those other two elected officials are doing in VA and NJ. It's time we hear about how much taxes they've cut, brought businesses and jobs to their states.

I live in Jersey so I can fill you in on Christie, even though he was sworn in less then one month ago. He's making big enemies with the teachers union, and the Chamber of Commerce. He has informed teachers and police that they may have to take wage cuts. He said this year's budget was in the red when in fact it was in the black. He out and lied about that one.

Right now he's trying to figure out how to raise revenues and isn't sure how he wants to do it. He can't cut taxes right now, not until the deficit is cut. He actually needs to increase tolls to just keep up with the road repairs but he won't. There is some talk about raising the gas tax, but I'm not sure where that will end up. I haven't heard one word about actually cutting land taxes which are the highest in America. People will be glad to get rid of this Gov. in four years.

Don't worry, by the time Nov comes, both Christie and McDonnell will be embarrassments. The GOP will not be able to use them as "examples" of what the "people" of America want.

I read the "whole story" at the Boston Globe website, and the Brown campaign claim that they did not advertise in certain towns may be true, but I know that from my neck of the woods in Massachusetts, I was hit with Scott Brown ads on Huff Po and at the website for The Nation. Somebody is selling a false bill of goods about how they sold a false bill of goods.
