Colbert Slams McCain For Stance On "Don't Ask Don't Tell" (VIDEO)

With Chairman of the Joint Chiefs Mike Mullen calling for a repeal of "Dont' Ask Don't Tell," Stephen Colbert mocked John McCain last night for his hypocritical stance the issue.

McCain criticized military leaders for advocating the end of the practice. This contradicted an interview he gave in 2006 where he felt those same military leaders should be the ones to decide to change the policy.

Colbert jumped all over it, saying McCain wasn't content with the opinions of "low-ranking" officials like the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs, the Secretary of Defense, and the Commander in Chief.

"We haven't heard a peep from the Commandant of the Coast Guard, the Chief of Naval Operations, Cap'n Crunch, Major Garrett, Sgt. Slaughter, Lt. Dan, 'Private Practice,' or Col. Sanders."
