Ed Hardy designer Christian Audigier, arguably the tackiest man in fashion, is planning to tone it down with a line of simple basics, the L.A. Times reports. The men's and women's apparel collection, called "the same guy (TM)" will be "free of graphics and logos...inspired by the comfort and simplicity of vintage T-shirts," made from a neutral color palette, and retail for $32 to $92.
Audigier also hopes to open 20 retail stores in conjunction with the new collection and will launch a website in March.
