I liked that "KeggersofYore"...America's tendency to shift fashions every decade or so makes it easy to pick out generations even without identifying captions.

Left me with the same question as watching "That 70's Show": Daggone, did we all do the same thing?

My GRANDMOTHER used to tell us kids
"We used to do the same things you young people do now- but we called it all by different names"
Older people may act all innocent now that they are older, with their pretty grey hair and baked cookies but let me tell ya they partied it up too!

And fashions alway repeat. Everyone thinks the young celebrities like Lady Gaga, Adam Lambert and Rihanna are "unique" in the way they dress but truth be told Cher, Patti LaBelle, Grace Jones, Elton John, David Bowie ect were dressing "unique" back in the 1970s

Oh that Google sexually violated humor - so many people are in denial - and just want to joke about sexual violation. I would love if one day the huge percentage of sexual abused man (20-30%) and women (30%) ish would come out of the closet. And we could have a societal discussion about it. Maybe people can heal and not grow up to continue cycles of abuse or addictions to p0rn or make subconscious jokes they may not even be aware of, or half the vile "entertainment" on TV and movies. Think about it, 100s of millions of people walking around this planet of every age with sexual abuse issues. Anyway, I love the Tom Selleck one only cos it is so weird!

OMG - lighten the @#$% up. There is no subject that is off limits for humor. Humor CAN be mean and insensitive, but it can also be therapeutic. I would also say that the ability to see humor in the little accidents and random connections that occur in life is the sign of a healthy mind. I wonder about the mental health of people who can't laugh at life - even at things that "aren't funny."

good day: it's hard to make comments these days on huff po without something combatting the opinion! i could 100% agree with you actually - but I was also making another point. it's not about lightening up - it's about, I guess, giving up on huff po for meaningful dialog where someone will take the thing one did NOT say to make a point of it and to further project something about them ("you" are this of that, it's kind of hysterical, and all a projection!). we're not writing dissertations. we're adding pieces to puzzles and frankly I added info people do not think about - yes we all can laugh. but let things be. Peace.

I wrote a long response that somehow didn't get it. Friend, I am not writing a dissertation, I agree with you in part - but let's not project stuff on others that have nothing to do with reality, no need for insights that in reality are way off base. These are small comments that offer additional perspectives, and the perspective I shared added a piece to the dialog. Peace and deep belly laughs.
