Currently, we have about 7 inches on the ground here in lower Bucks County just a little east and north of Trenton and the forecast is for 16 to 22 inches.

Don't recall a 'Blizzard Warning' ever....

PA, DE, & NJ have declared an emergency and all but essential folks should be off the streets.

How's that Global Warming working out for ya? Oh, wait, we have to change the name since it's SO FREAKING COLD OUTSIDE!

It's now to the point that the government will want money to do something about the sun coming up tomorrow BECAUSE SOMETHING HAS TO BE DONE!

It's warm--DO SOMETHING! Now it's cold--DO SOMETHING! Nancy Pelosi, get on that plane and take your entourage to Copenhagen because SOMETHING HAS TO BE DONE!

Nice scam.

Wow, global warming (climate change) is really taking its toll on us. I think it's time we start paying special taxes to save the planet. Our politicians will lead the way!

If you knew the first thing about climate change, you would know that "global warming" is a misnomer. But experts couldn't call it "crap happening in dramatic fashion in places it usually doesn't occur" because it doesn't sound as nice.

Global warming ISN"T a misnomer, but it doesn't mean winters will get less harsh. They are getting shorter, but warmer air holds more moisture, which means more precipitation.

End story: global warming means MORE SNOW in places that get snow. This has been predicted since the 70s

East coast - get ready for another massive snow storm.

Look at this Sat image from NOAA. A huge slug of subtropical moisture is crossing over Mexico, headed north. Across CA is a cold core low, headed east. The two will mate up over Texas/New Mexico, just like this last storm, and, well, get ready folks.

It is amazing how articles of Robert Lanza MD (all these long sequences of empty words) are guarded here against any criticism!

Interesting, will my comment appear on this thread, or it will disappear too.

Which video?

I am commenting about Robert Lanza MD "theories" (sequences of random words). That is another article here. If you are interested, go to main page and find it.

I was going to comment on that piece but I didn't feel like wasting my time. As a scientist I find his articles... amusing.

Shawn, we've heard this so many times. However, the issue is not that we won't have cold weather.

It's that we will have inappropriate weather in different regions.

If anything, this freak weather in the Mid-Atlantic (I can't tell you how many Mid-Atlantic people have told me, "I've never seen anything like this before in my life here") gives credence to those concerned about climate change.

Regardless of which side you are on, does anyone think it good for the environment or the health of mankind to spewing chemicals, smoke and toxins into our air? If it is, then you need to rag on all those "idiots" giving out smog warnings in L.A.

The Mid-Atlantic is bracing for yet another one, hitting it right now. This will be the third in less than 2 weeks, the fourth in less than 2 months. In this somewhat temperate zone in over thirty years, I've never seen anything like it here either.

This is a great way to show my Texas family what a blizzard is like.
We moved to Austin from the mid-Atlantic a few years ago and while I don't enjoy 105-degree weather for weeks at a time, this amount of snow is exhausting for days and weeks on end.

I feel for you, DC (and Baltimore and surrounding areas).

Especially shoveling it. Over and over and over and over again.

This one is much worse than last two - it's wet and heavy and will snow all day into the evening with high winds - no chance to shovel/recover before dark.

Oh my gosh I do feel for you...why would you want to move to that forsaken place called Texas?

I lived there from 1963 to 1969.

May God have mercy on you:)
