Black History Month Events In New York

As we enter the second week of Black History Month, New York City is offering a host of activities to participate in. There are lectures, concerts, films, art shows and performances galore, with many retrospectives on Jazz greats and iconoclasts.

Here, we've collected a sampling of the events you can check out around the city.
