Sarah Palin Lifts 'Fox News Sunday' Ratings, But 'Meet The Press' Tops

Sarah Palin lifted "Fox News Sunday" to some of its best numbers ever, but it still wasn't enough to knock off "Meet the Press."

Palin's sit-down with Chris Wallace averaged 1.540 million total viewers (510,000 A25-54 viewers) in its initial broadcast on FOX. That was up 35% from the previous week and represented the show's highest total viewer delivery since November.

But "Meet the Press" averaged the most total viewers, with 3.570 million. CBS' "Face the Nation," which broadcasted from the Super Bowl in Miami, came in a close second with 3.570 million, and ABC's "This Week" averaged 2.600 million. In the A25-54 demo, "Face the Nation" actually came in first place, with 1.200 million A25-54 viewers, beating "Meet the Press" (1.040 million) and "This Week" (830,000).

Including its 2PM and 6PM repeats on Fox News, Wallace's Palin interview averaged over 4 million viewers, his highest combined viewership ever.
