Yves Saint Laurent: The Musical?

Yves Saint Laurent: The Musical?

YSL is ready to stage a comeback...but this time it will include high notes and some dancing. French singer and composer Alain Chamfort's recently-released album "Une Vie Saint Laurent" contains 16 songs about YSL's life, and it's set to be made into a musical at the Chaillot National Theater next year. Chamfort told W Magazine that at first he thought the project was a strange idea: "I was skeptical. Who will find this interesting? I did not know Yves Saint Laurent's life, I only knew the YSL rive gauche store." After researching the designer's life, he believes YSL was born under a lucky star, calling him "a visionary: he started at Dior at 19, a child, and created a full collection at 21! "

Chamfort also revealed that he admires Karl Lagerfeld. We're already praying for "Kaiser Karl: The Musical."
