Gordon Brown Launches UN Climate Fundraising Group, Denounces Skeptics

Prime minister Gordon Brown today accused climate change sceptics of going "against the grain" of scientific evidence, as he launched a new group to raise billions of pounds for the fight against global warming.

Mr. Brown needs to stop insulting the voters who are sceptical about global warming. They will soon vote on whether his party shall continue to control the UK government. They are likely the swing voters who will decide which party shall control the next government.

The author of the article concludes that there has been no warming, but Jones says the opposite. The right-wing paper is taking advantage of people's ignorance concerning statistics. Global temperatures continue to rise and if you include more than those 15 years it is a statistical certainty.

Brown said: "Those people who have become global warming deniers and those people who have become climate change deniers are against the grain of all the evidence that has been assembled that global warming and climate change are indeed challenges that the world must meet and that can only be met together," he said. He has previously denounced what he described as "anti-science, flat-earth climate skeptics".
