Nancy Elliott, Anti-Gay Lawmaker, Describes Anal Sex During Public Hearing: 'Wriggling' Around 'In Excrement'

First Posted: 04/14/10 06:12 AM ET Updated: 05/25/11 04:30 PM ET

New Hampshire State Rep. Nancy Elliott (R) shared some of her views about anal sex at a recent executive session to repeal same-sex marriage. Rep. Elliott does not discuss the bill in the clip below, but she does share her views, extensively and graphically, on anal sex.

"We're talking about taking the penis of one man and putting it in the rectum of another man and wriggling it around in excrement. " Rep. Elliott said. "And you have to think, I'm not sure, would I allow that to be done to me?"

She went on in this same vein until interrupted by someone off camera. "Representative Elliott... Let's keep our discussion directly to the bill."

Rep. Elliott, however, was undeterred. "They are now teaching it in the public school. They are showing our fifth graders how they can actually perform this kind of sex... They are saying this is something that you, as a 5th grader, may want to try."

Verbalizing sexual activity is a weak substitute for getting some. I suggest that Ellot ain't gettin any, yet her envy is obvious enough. Go for it gal, you only live once!

The problem with the portrayal of gay marriage is that hetrosexuals only think of the act of sex. They do not think of two people being in love, sharing a home having a family. Until the associating of gay = sex is broken then that is all they will ever see. It is no ones business what anyone likes in the bedroom but unfortunately when it is same sex couples, the public assume the obvious. There are some sexual behaviors of hetrosexuals that do not come under scrutiny so neither should this.

I find it beyond unprofessional that this woman would behave in this manner to describe sex between two men as being the only reason for allowing gay marriage. And to describe it in the most vile terms possible as everyone sat there and showed absolutely no reaction. If I described heterosexual intercourse as a man sticking his penis into a woman's vagina and wiggling it around in her secretions, and I was describing it with the most graphic language I could use, I would be hauled into HR so fast my head would spin. Why wasn't this woman censured for using this inflammatory language? In Maine, the only way the opposition could get people's attention to vote the measure down was to raise the revulsion quotient through the roof and link gay marriage to pedophilia and sex with animals. By the way, it isn't about sex, anyway, it's about equality under the LAW. I think this woman should resign her position and keep her fantasies to herself...

I first heard of anal sex in a film called "Bambi's Bottom". I don't remember it starring two men.

Just when I was trying to put into words what is wrong with politics and
politicians today, HP came to the rescue with this. I am faced with a bad
economy, horrendous pot holes in the roads, health care yes or no - back and forth.
Now I know why.

And...(after reviewing what the Nashua school administrators said).....YOU LIE!!!!

Comment to person saying that 'she is just expressing majority opinion"---How do you know that? Maybe you're horribly wrong and really in the minority.

Will she also warn kids about poking around in pee?

As much as most of you will hate to hear it, she's simply stating the majority opinion.

Majority opinion or imagination?

Majority opinion of whom? Are you out of your mind? I would hate to think that majority of NH thinks and feels the same way this woman does. I find that difficult to believe.

No, the majority of humanity. It's just the facts, pal. Most people find this type of behavior fairly disgusting. That doesn't mean they're opposed to it being legal, just they would never do it themselves. It would not matter that it'd be homo or hetero.

As a New Hampshire resident, I'm completely embarrassed to have this women representing me. It is absolutely appalling.

I, for one, appreciate her going public with this view. It illustrates the counterpoint to something anti-gay and anti-marriage equality people like to assert: that homosexuals people are obsessed with sex. No, homosexuals are not any more obsessed with sex than anyone else, but homophobes are certainly obsessed with gay sex.

needless to say.... there are plenty of women who like it down there. just a simple fact.

the funny thing is, if kids are taught that option in health class, it'll take away the "naughty" quality they encounter later in life when they consider trying it. why ruin their fun? :)

i think health class should have the bare essentials when it comes to *procedures* in the bedroom. no more, no less. that means vaginal sex, contraception,....plus all those lovely disease lessons. after that, let them explore as adults.

Because man, when I go to a wedding, all I can do is think about the bride and groom doing it...

LOL. Awesome.
