Conservative leaders gathering in Virginia Wednesday will sign on to a broad statement of principle aimed at giving a coherent framework to the grassroots energy roiling the right.

"The federal government today ignores the limits of the Constitution, which is increasingly dismissed as obsolete and irrelevant," reads a portion of the statement provided to POLITICO by its organizers. "Some insist that America must change, cast off the old and put on the new. But where would this lead -- forward or backward, up or down? Isn't this idea of change an empty promise or even a dangerous deception?

They will be promoting "Constitutional Conservatism". So is the patriot act a good thing for the constitution? Come on knee jerkers. . How about the patriot act? Will you restore our liberties lost from that? Not likely, especially from the cowering rightwing.

More glittering generalities that mean nothing. I don't know how a bunch of people could be more worthless. The republicans are unhappy with the republicans, the democrats are unhappy with the democrats. They are all becoming completely worthless to everyone but banksters and big money people.
Our so called leaders are not fooling anybody. When will they figure THAT out.
