crap. the problem with trying to be "fair" to apple's competitors by pretending that their products are even worth a look is that they simply arent. i am the unlucky owner of an htc touch 2 (it tilts!) and it is the absolute worst piece of garbage i ever. i also have an itouch and the difference is huge- if HTC anytthing is on fire and i happen to be walking by it, i wont even smell the smoke, let alone look at it.

take the worst of microsoft (sluggish, nag promts and awful interface) and the worse of a me-too device (overly responsive "touch" which renders itself useless, renegade volume buttons, ill-placed camera button, REALLY BAD reception, REALLY BAD battery life...)

rant over. please no more on htc anything except if their executives are being hauled off to prison for fraud.

now rant over.
