So would it be funny if there were old films of Chinese women falling down because their feet had been bound?
I don't think so, in fact most of us would feel great sympathy for them and horrified that they allowed their feet to be disfigured all in the name of style & fashion.
Please explain to me why women allow, yes ALLOW, fashion designers to sell them footwear that is painful to wear, jeopardizes their ability to walk safely, and makes it hard to them to walk any distance. And then explain to me what the difference is between the bound feet in the 1800's that resulted in permanent disfiguration and shoes that are popular now that also result in fractures and foot problems?
And perhaps someone can also explain to me why men are not subject to these same type of new styles, especially since the people designing the shoes are usually men?

I love watching someone fold as much as the next person, but the 'falling model' vid or pic on HP is so played out. We get it already...too thin girls wearing impossibly difficult to wear clothes and shoes (and most likely high) are prone to slip on stage. It's even funnier as its in front of an audience.........

I doubt it would be quite so funny if it was the girl from the Precious film that fell...get a new group to dig on...its become way too predictable.
