Obama's College Debt Forgiveness Plan 'Misguided', 'Unstable'

President's College Debt Forgiveness plan is unfair, deserves an F

The president already was a hit with young people who typically don't pay property taxes or have mortgages. With his pledge to wipe out some college debt for future graduates, he's probably more popular with student groups than a 10-cent taco right about now.

But putting taxpayers in general on the hook for what amounts to an individual's personal career investment is misguided and possibly unsustainable. Someone give the president a Blue Book and tell him to try writing a plan that, for starters, won't put the college costs of people with higher earning potential on the backs of society at large.
