Joe, Jill Biden Celebrate Late Valentine's Day In Brooklyn

Vice President Joe Biden and his wife Jill celebrated a belated Valentine's Day in Brooklyn at the River Cafe, the New York Daily News reports. The second couple arrived at 1 p.m. on Saturday at Jill's favorite restaurant in the world.

So, what did the pair order?

For appetizers, the Bidens munched on a pear salad and a warm goat cheese and potato terrine.

Joe Biden, in a blue jacket over a striped blue buttondown shirt and navy slacks, ordered a 14-ounce sirloin steak cooked medium well ($30). His wife opted for bass with grilled artichoke purée and poached artichoke hearts ($28).

Good for the Bidens to be able to enjoy and evening out.

Only 19 posts and no chastising of the Bidens, interesting. Where are the usual suspects with their faux outrage? Were are the spend conscious trolls so worried about their tax dollars? Were are those folks who don't think these sort of things should be done in this tough economic times? Were are the folks who call the Obama's insensitive when they want to enjoy a simply dinner out? Different stokes for different folks .

If you are interested in a healthy, loving, respectful relationship, please watch the Good Morning America interview with the Bidens. It was very sweet but, as is typical with Joe and Jill, very honest.

The GMA piece showed a lot of photos and clips, which also made it a pleasant interview. Yeah, they even argue like normal couples; Joe insists on a kiss and a hug from Jill before they leave each morning, however, argument or not because you never know what can happen during the day. :)

I think the main reason no one is complaining about the Bidens is because their every move is not in the news 24/7. The Obama`s on the other hand are constantly under a microscope and even help the media by announcing their every move.

My affections for the President & his family are equaled for the Vice President and his. Both families are wonderful representations of our country.

I still have faith in the men we voted into office that they will find a way to lead us out of this mess. I know things aren't happening as quickly as people hope/think they should but we didn't get into this state overnight and we sure aren't going to get out of it any quicker.

It will probably get a bit bumpier before it gets better but we'll make it.
