"Judge Judy" just marked its 700th straight week as the #1 court show on TV, and Judy Sheindlin spoke with the New York Post writer who pointed that out, Michael Starr.
Her take on why she's lasted so long, and so successfully?
"I'm a really comfortable shoe," she told Starr.
She added that she doesn't believe her viewers are tuning in for her looks.
"I sort of have a feeling that people don't watch my show for what I look like," she said. "They wouldn't be watching if they wanted to see a looker. They're watching for a message, action or something else."
