Pat Quinn's Campaign Gets Help From Former Enemies

Gov. Quinn and former Illinois Senate President Emil Jones often butted heads. But now all is forgiven.

Last month, as Quinn battled Dan Hynes down to the wire in a tight Democratic primary race for governor, he turned to Jones. And the South Side Democrat came through.

Jones isn't the only powerful Democrat Quinn has tangled with in the past who helped him against Hynes. Among others: Ald. Edward M. Burke (14th) and Cook County Democratic Party Chairman Joseph Berrios.
