Team USA's streak of success continued at the Vancouver Olympics on Sunday. The U.S. Olympic hockey team upset Canada on the host country's home ice. That performance was preceded by Bode Miller's first career gold medal, an accomplishment he earned at the super combined. The United States leads second-place Germany in the medal count by six awards.

Elsewhere, a pair of Canadians won the original dance portion of the ice dancing competition, while Swiss skier Michael Schmid won gold in the first ever Olympic skicross competition. Scroll down for photos from Sunday's events.

Are bobsled teams always a "toothpick and olive" pair? I was kind of surprised by the tubby teammates who provide bullet weight in the nose.

They have no fear. Nothing stops them. They are as close to superheros as humans come.

This just in: The Canadians are teed off and are not going to take it any more....
A Danish curler was brought to tears after a boisterous Canadian crowd intentionally distracted her during crucial shots in her team's match against the home nation. With the crowd stomping and making deafening noise, Denmark skip Madeleine Dupont missed two potentially game-winning shots and tearfully blamed the fans for it afterward. Canada won the match 5-4 in an extra end.

Such boorish fan behavior is normally considered unacceptable in the genteel world of curling.

So, I say-- go US hockey. Beat the Ca nucka nucka nucks.

The Canadian women are competing against Sweden at the moment and there is no score, I think what your talking about was last week. It was criticized at the time and has since pretty much stopped.

but please keep manufacturing those controversies ....
