The Vancouver Olympics crowned several new medalists on Monday, including golds for Canadian ice dancers Tessa Virtue and Scott Moir. The U.S. won silver in the event, moving their medal total to 25. Germany narrowly trails the United States in the overall medal count.

Today's events include alpine skiing, freestyle skiing and speed skating. In the meantime, check out some of the best images from Monday's action.
