Jay Leno's Lost (And Terrible) Movie (VIDEO)

First Posted: 04/27/10 06:12 AM ET Updated: 05/25/11 04:40 PM ET

Looking get in a few more jabs at Jay Leno before he officially returns to the "Tonight Show"? Enter "Collision Course," a forgettable buddy cop flick that Leno starred in with the late, great Pat Morita. The kind folks at Everything Is Terrible have cut together the best (worst) moments for your enjoyment. Luckily they're chock full of misogyny (with a dash of racism), which will give you ample ammunition for his return.

As long as there is Jay Leno's "Collision Course", "Kiss Meets The Phantom Of The Park" will never be the world's worst movie.
In fact, "Plan 9 From Outer Space" even moves up a notch because of Jay.

If every stupid thing we ever did in our early adult life (20's&30's) was paraded in front of our 50ish eyes, we'd all be embarrassed. No one would laugh harder at this than Leno himself. It big Conan/Leno fight is over. Both will have shows in the fall. No one went to the poorhouse over this. Non-story.

Leno is a creep.

And Jon Stewart is embarrassed about HIS acting roles? ;-)
02:46 PM on 02/27/2010
Stewart has made fun of his film roles many times.

If you read the short blip, it is said that Joay had a 'touch of racism'. I believe that what was being referred to.

I was an extra in this movie. I interviewed Jay Leno on the set. He was a nice guy. The movie, however, is awful. And my scene didn't even make the cut!

Leno also had a supporting role in a pretty good movie called American Hot Wax, which was about the great Rock and Roll D.J. Allan Freed. I liked it a lot.

I love that movie. (American Hot Wax, not Collision Course). It's a great, lost rock and roll movie. Chuck Berry's in it.

great unsung movie, American Hot Wax.
12:05 PM on 03/01/2010
American Hot Wax is the best movie ever about rock and roll. Tim McIntyre deserved serious Oscar recognition for playing Alan Freed. Check it out if you haven't seen yet, you'll be very surprised.

So, when liberals hate somebody they will do anything to try to destroy him personally, even dig up a dacades old movie to use to make some "jabs". Let that be a lesson to Leno - once liberals hate you, they hate you forever and with a passion, and there is nothing you can do about it, except make jokes of them!
12:14 PM on 02/26/2010
Relax dude,,, nobody's trying to destroy anybody. He's in the news, especially right now with him going back on the tonight show,,, and some writer getting close to a deadline remembered this bad old movie and brought it up. For a laugh,,,
Nobody's saying "Leno's a bad guy" - "Don't watch Leno" - "Leno is Dick Cheney's love monkey (ewww,,,)",,, it's just a little joke about an old movie. I assure you, one blog entry on Huffpo will not bring down the house of Jay.
I wish Liberals were as powerful and nefarious and devious as the cons think they are,,, maybe we'd get something done.

He can have the show, but he's lost the respect of his peers, and most of his following.

LOL

Yes. The United Nations has declared him a global pariah. Yup.

I can't believe how racist that movie was, it's your classic I'll be your friend just as a long as I can call you everything derogatory in the book.
Hollywood has really done a disservice to Asian Americans, Native Americans, and Mexican Americans.

If you're age 65 to death, you watch Jay. Everyone else has a life.

Actually, Leno does quite well in the 18-34 and 18-49 demographics.

""The Jay Leno Show" is currently within a tenth of a rating point of the #1 rating in the hour among the major networks in adults 18-49 (pending updates) and is #1 in adults, men and women 18-34, men 18-49 and men 25-54 (tie)."

Ironically, his "acting" is funnier than his "comedy."
