NEW YORK — John Grisham is writing for young people.
The million-selling author of courtroom thrillers has agreed to write two novels for the Penguin Young Readers Group.
Penguin said Thursday that the first book is called "Theodore Boone: Kid Lawyer" and comes out in May. It tells the story of a "13-year-old amateur attorney who unwittingly becomes involved in a high-profile murder trial."
The second novel, also featuring Theodore Boone, is scheduled for 2011.
