Daphne Guinness Fashion Exhibit To Open Next Year (PHOTOS)

"Daphne Guinness will exhibit 80 to 100 pieces from her clothing collection at F.I.T.'s museum from September 2011 through January 2012. The exhibit will include pieces by Alexander McQueen, Balenciaga, Comme des Garçons, Dolce & Gabbana, and Azzedine Alaïa," The Cut reports.

Guinness was a close friend and muse to the late designer Alexander McQueen, whose funeral she attended in London on Thursday.

I'm not familiar with her but she certainly has a style that I think works for her. Her feet must be in constant pain tho - dang those shoes!

I like the way she dresses but like she must work really really really hard to maintain her figure and skin. It's like her life must be about the way she looks and maintaining it.

This is one self absorbed "THING"....Englands own Maire Antoinette....completely out of touch with reality, the people or I suspect anyone save those equally silly enough to pander to her...the Emporer's Clothes story comes to mind.
It's so sick to see such self inldent opulance.

I personally am excited to see such elaborate costumes.

They are incredibly made, and is a medium that lends itself to over the top self expression.

I think she and anyone else with the crazy outfits is brave, especially if they keep it up. It takes a fine eye to pull that off.

I think most of this is silly, kind of like a costume ball.
The shoes however, and you know which ones I mean, are just stupid.

Also, the close-ups are not flattering at all.

But then again, I think the whole fashion (as opposed to clothing) industry is pretty much a joke.
