Colorado Community College Revenues Lag Behind Projections

AURORA - When Amendment 50 was up for vote in 2008, state economists forecasted that the Colorado Community College System would receive about $29 million in revenue during the first year. Nancy McCallin never believed in that prediction and now her fears are coming true.

"It is coming in lower. That is a function of the economy," said McCallin, system president of the CCCS which adminstrates over 13 community colleges around the state.
